DR. SUZANNE HARSHBARGER

Dr. Suzanne Harshbarger grew up on a small farm outside of York, Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school in 1996, she attended Delaware Valley University where she received her B.S. in Large Animal Science. She then attended Purdue University, graduating in 2003 with her Doctor in Veterinary Medicine. She had practiced mixed animal medicine and surgery at two different Illinois clinics before she opened Knoxville Veterinary Service in May 2016. Knoxville Veterinary Service is a full time, full service veterinary practice that has grown substantially since then and is currently a two doctor practice. up her own veterinary practice.

Dr. Harshbarger lives with her husband, Kevin, and four kids, Lexi, Easton, Austin and Gavin, south of Knoxville. Her kids attend Knoxville School district and are involved in many in-school and after school activities. Most of her out-of-clinic time, including weekends, is spent watching her children’s sporting events. If she ever had spare time, she would spend it gardening or baking. She does have two dogs, Scooter and Fluffers, which have become the barking mascots of the clinic. She also has four cats.

Dr. Harshbarger is currently a member of the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Her practice philosophy has always been to treat every pet as though it was her own and to communicate with every client in a way that they can make the best, most informed decisions regarding their pets’ health and care.

DR. DINA SERVEN

We would like to welcome Dr. Dina Serven to our team. She received her DVM degree from the University of IL in 1999 and has had a small animal practice focus for the last twenty years. She absolutely loves all aspects of canine and feline medicine and surgery, but also enjoys the extra challenges that come with the cardiac and dermatology cases.
